Get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable and open a world of possibility...

I invite you to:

Can this moment, this inhale, this exhale be enough?

Take a breath and notice what is...

Breathe into the is of this moment..

Maybe you are at your desk.  Maybe it is cluttered.

Is it a signal that brings you to worrying about the future or lamenting about the past?  Or is it a signal that brings you into a relaxed focus?

What if you used what you see before you as an opportunity to breath into the moment.

Perhaps you can see the clutter, the glare on your computer screen as shapes and light.

Sometimes I find myself in the car all grouchy and irritable and I make a decision to notice what is.  I just say the word “is” to myself.  I notice the smells and sounds and sights and feelings in my body.  They may not be pleasant.  Nevertheless when I use each sensation as a signal to breathe and notice my breath, I make a choice to be grateful for what I can sense in the moment.

I bring my vision to what I enjoy.  I practice seeing the beauty in the shapes and colors, hearing the sounds, the melodies and rhythms that are before me.

If somebody or something is annoying you, can you notice the beauty anyway?

Can all sensations , painful, pleasurable and otherwise be a meditation bell?
